THE NBA FINALS GAME 2-A TALE OF TWO HALFS. GAME 3 – RAPTORS TAKE COMMAND!

GAME 2: QUICK SUMMARY

THE TORONTO RAPTORS DOMINATED THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS JUST LIKE THEY DID IN GAME 1 DURING THE FIRST HALF. THEY DICTATED THE PACE AND OUT HUSTLE THE WARRIORS TO EVERY LOOSE BALL. THE RAPTORS WERE PLAYING WITH A SENSE OF URGENCY.

BUT IN THE SECOND HALF TORONTO’S CONTROL OF THE GAME HAD COMPLETELY VANISHED. THE SECOND HALF OF THE GAME WAS A DIFFERENT STORY THE WARRIORS WOKE UP AS THEY BEGAN PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP LOCKDOWN DEFENSE. TORONTO COULDN’T BUY A BASKET THEY WERE STRUGGLING! THE WARRIORS WENT ON A 20-0 RUN IN THE 3RD QUARTER AND TOOK COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE GAME.

BOTH TEAMS WENT ON SCORING DROUGHTS IN THE FOURTH QUARTER. TORONTO PLAYED AN UNUSUAL BOX AND ONE DEFENSE WHICH REALLY MUGGED UP THE LAST 5 MINUTES OF THE GAME. FORTUNATELY FOR THE WARRIORS ANDRE IGUODALA HIT A GAME CLOSING 3P SHOT TO PUT THE RAPTORS AWAY WITH UNDER 30 SECONDS LEFT. THE WARRIORS BIG 3 ALL HAD GOOD GAMES!

GAME 3: QUICK SUMMARY

THE TORONTO RAPTORS SENSE OF URGENCY WAS LIKE THEY SAW BLOOD IN THE WATER AS THEY SWARM LIKE PURANAS ALL GAME! THEY WERE RELENTLESS AND THEY WERE IN COMPLETE CONTROL ONCE AGAIN! THEY GAME JUST STARTED AND AS SOON AS I BLINKED AND THE WARRIORS ALREADY TRAILED BY MORE THAN 10POINTS. IT WAS AN UPHILL BATTLE ALL NIGHT FOR THE WARRIORS.

STEPH CURRY WAS A LONE WOLF OUT THERE AS HE WAS TRYING TO CONSTANTLY BRING HIS TEAM BACK FROM DOUBLE DIGIT LEADS. TO ME THE GAME WAS OVER IN THE THIRD QUARTER. THE WARRIORS DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE IN LAST’S NIGHT GAME. CURRY ALMOST HAD 50 POINTS AND THE WARRIORS STILL HAD NO CHANCE.

THE WARRIORS 2ND LEADING SCORER WAS DRAYMOND GREEN HE ONLY HAD 17P. MEANWHILE TORONTO’S ENTIRE STARTING 5 ALL HAD OVER 17 POINTS. EVERYONE WAS TOUCHING THE BALL AND TORONTO SCORING WAS BALANCED.

LAST NIGHT PROVED ONCE AGAIN ONE GREAT PLAYER HAVING A GREAT NIGHT WILL NOT DEFEAT AN ENTIRE TEAM FROM HAVING GREAT NIGHTS! IT IS AMAZING TO THINK THAT TORONTO’S STARTING 5 ALL SHOT OVER 50% FROM THE FIELD.
