Kristapts Porzingis has a lot of game. I was fortunate enough to see him play live as a rookie. As I was watching him play it dawn upon me that his skill set was somewhat similar to Kevin Durant! My eyes were glued to how he played. He was moving effortlessly on the court. What impressive me the most was how well he shot the ball , it was quite amazing to see.
He’s called the unicorn 🦄 for a reason he’s rare species in the NBA.
I can’t wait to see more putback dunks:
As far as copying styles everyone copies a moves and work that move to their advantage and he’s doing the same. Let’s see if he can be a scoring machine in the near future.
His style of play has worked for him so far. As he evolves into his prime he will ultimately one of the most dangerous players in this game. I can easily see him being a top 5 player for many years. The only thing I question is his health!

Kristapts Porzingis , Hey I got two ideas , a mere subtlety of adjustments that you can apply to your game. I just want you to have longevity in the NBA.
1. Jump only when it’s necessary on defense. In other words you can get blocks by position like (Tim Duncan).
This will save your knees in the long run. You should still average about 2 – 2.5 Blocks per game. You’re presence alone would force opponents to change how they’re approaching the paint.
2. Get to your spots sooner (preferably in the mid-range) and make quicker and more decisive moves. If the shot is not there don’t force it. You’ll get the ball back because a post up fade away from a 7’3 player would be impossible to stop!
He will be entering his 4th season with a new start and tag partner in Luka Doncic. I have high hopes for his success.
