DONTE DIVINCENZO – A SIGN OF GROWTH

Have you ever heard of him?

If you didn’t , he was a star at Villanova. He is a 2x NCAA Champion!

(So he has experience in big games)

He was named in 2018 “Final Four Most Outstanding Player”.

The Milwaukee Bucks now have put their complete trust in Donte Divincenzo to grow as a player. Last year he was buried in the rotation behind some key players.

But since the departure of Malcolm Brodgon this will be a very important year for Divincenzo. This will be the year for him to establish himself in this league on what kind of player he can be now and eventually evolve into.

I expect him to play a lot more minutes this year. As he already fits great alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo. He’s a tough kid with a lot of grit and grind to his game. I personally like him and I think he has a ton of potential.

What caught my attention:

His finger roll caught my attention as you don’t see many players use that shot!

This season progression:

Later on in this season when the Bucks shorten up their bench look for Divincenzo to get more run.

Donte is 23 years old and this will be his second year in the NBA.

He played in 27 games as a rookie and here’s what he did.
