The Hawks and the Kings have had many all-star talents. Yet they haven’t gotten a championship yet.

A lot of talent rolled through but it did not equate to a chip.

i thought that team that almost squeezed through the lakers in early 2000 was championship material. composed of vlade divac, chris webber, peja stojakovic, hedo torkuglu, mike bibby, i thought they would get past the lakers.

Dude , that team was 🔥! Their has been evidence of the nba rigging the lakers vs Kings series ‘02. Apparently the nba did not think the Nets vs Kings finals would sell as much as the lakers going for their 3 peat. I’m with you that Kings team was fun to watch. I believe they average around 30 assists per game as team. Which is insane!

I was rooting for them then. Precisely because of the assists they coughed out every game. They played a wonderful assist-game.

The high pick and roll with Chris Webber & Vlade Divac was unstoppable! Because they would always make the right assist. Plus you had Peja for 3! What could you do. Bobby Jackson and young Tuckoulu of the bench. They even had Gerald Wallace who was a lockdown defender with crazy hops.

You got me reminiscing on that great team robbed of a nba finals appearance.
