Should the Brooklyn Nets gut their bench to add another star?
My personal opinion:
Naaaaaa… I would like to see what this current roster of the Brooklyn Nets could do first.
Why in the NBA world would the Brooklyn Nets gut their entire roster? They have a lot of nice young pieces that aren’t necessarily proven but they have tons of talent. Especially in Dimwiddie , LeVert , & Allen. All young players under reasonable contracts that could be trusted in the playoffs if given the role. But will they put their ego aside for the good of the team to win a chip?
In recent history these two superstar players (KD & Kyrie) are considered to be injury prone. To me if you have the best version of KD & Kyrie than it is championship or bust. Because those two dudes are some ballers!
On Contrary:
Why not trade players the young and unproven players for a bonafide star! If the nets can add a player of the magnitude of an All star level player then they’d be set to win for the next few years!
If were to come to that then….
If I could I would want to keep 2 players in Caris LeVert and/or Joe Harris. You will need a reliable 6th man in (LeVert) and a catch and shoot sniper in (Harris). Everybody else can go….
But which players should they go after????
Drop a thought.
I keep hearing that James Harden name… what you do think of them reuniting in Brooklyn?
If they reunited and somehow kept them as a big 3 (KD, Kyrie , & Harden) then they will finish their career together and win 2-4 titles.

Right!!! I always think about that. They had a dynasty in their hands. They were all under 23 lol crazy to think.

Kd is a very good defender especially off ball. If they can get BI that would be a steal as well. Could work for both teams. I think Zion needs his own team he’s that special.

I would love to see them try for Brandon Ingram.
Oh and Durant plays defense!

True. Can you imagine, if OKC hadn’t broken that team up and each player had accepted their role . . . would’ve changed the landscape of the league.

Now we just to wait and see if Houston is willing to part ways with their superstar. If you think about this team would be like how they were in okc. Kyrie > Westbrook for their system.

I would agree with that. I just don’t see them meshing. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Harden steps back into a Bosh role, and if that’s the case, watch out.

Ha! Nice one. But this will be the chance for KD to be the leader he wants to be respected as. Kyrie will he unbelievable with kd. Harden as a floor general would be interesting as he already differ to kd in his career.

Harden is a remarkable talent with incredible scoring ability but he is not a winner to me. As for Kyrie, I was already curious enough to see how he’d blend with just one other star bc we know how he can be. So I don’t know about this.
Anyways, yuck. Go Knicks.

This would have to be like the ‘08 Boston Celtics. They would have to perfect their role. Talent wise this would be on the level on the Miami Heat big 3.

I don’t see Harden and Kyrie working together. They both need the ball. And who plays defense?
