I like how the New Knicks are using Julius Randle as a point forward. They have him the keys to the team as the leader. As doing so this has allowed the offense to open up. Putting the ball in the hands of your best player should always be the offense if you don’t you have a dynamic point guard.
Despite the 9 turnovers Julius looked great he was efficient with his shooting and always got his teammates involved.
I am starting to see more growth in Julius Randle’s game. Let’s hope he keeps this up.

I am loving it. He is playing winning basketball. The decision making has been such an improvement from last year. The stats are legitimate this year and no longer empty production like it was last year. Credit to Thibs so far. Trade value ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Credit to the coaching staff for trusting in him. He has always had the talent. I hope he keeps this up. Lol so you just want him to get flipped?

Well, they could certainly hang onto him and try to make a run this year but I see no point longterm. Eevntually they’d have to take a look at the roster they have constructed, you know. They have Robinson, Toppin — two guys they drafted who look good on the surface — so there’s no longterm fit for Randle. I’ll enjoy it for now though. Haha.

Realistically they probably won’t trade Randle lol knowing the Knicks. But Randle is playing with the ball in his hands and those two young players are playing well off him. The East is wide open. Julius can legitimately become a top 25 player in the league.

Yup. They drafted Toppin for a reason, though. Like there would literally be no spot for Randle long term once Toppin is ready to start. You’d have three bigs in one starting lineup and nobody is going to do that in 2020. Haha. Spacing nightmare. I think Rose will eventually do what’s right bc there seems to be some stability in that F.O. finally. Hah.
And just came across your RJ comment from five days ago, my bad. I think I’m hitting the under on 21.5 bc his three-ball is repulsive right now. Haha.

I like toppin, Mitchell , n rj as their core 3 going forward. I do agree with you about flipping Randle. But I think in Knicks fashion they’ll keep him or get worse assets for return. Lol they haven’t proved to be a trustworthy franchise. If rj can average near 20 then the Knicks would surprise a lot more teams. My stance will never change the nba is better when the Knicks are relevant!

Who would you trade Randle for?

If he keeps this rate up a first round pick is ideal. The class of ‘21 is very deep.

“If” he does they could make a playoff push and add by subtraction…..🤔🤔

Yup! The question is going to ultimately come down to do the Knicks want to try to win now while potentially stunting the development of some of their youth, or do they bite the bullet, flip him, and keep letting the kids get their touches. ?? All depends on what things look like in a few months. Lot can happen.

Every point you made is 💯! Because it all depends on where they want their direction to go. I would just keep Randle but if you can get you a high draft pick then ya I would flip him real quick.

Every win they get is making me want to lean that way. Haha. So I get it.
